Astrokit Education and Outreach Toolkits

The Astrokit STEM Education Box and Outreach Toolkit Box is a physical box of resources and digital content which has been developed to be used to support the teaching of formal and informal STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). Teacher Training modules have been developed to accompany the resources which cater for primary (4 -11), secondary (11-16) and college (16-19) age groups.

Astrokit* is a bespoke resource which comes with a catalogue of activities and games which the user can choose from to create their own “Toolkit” with a variety of subject areas such as Electricity and Electronics, Smart Materials, Robotics etc. Read more …

Music of the Spheres explores the science of music through creativity, using technology and everyday materials around us to teach music, science, maths, art and design. Using a cross-curricular approach the participants create their own instruments and produce a musical finale.

Awesome Moons – Cool Planets  Moons that look like flying saucers, moons with volcanoes, moons that explode and shoot frozen water hundreds of kilometres into space, these moons are so awesome you might want to live there!
In this activity students view and then vote for the most awesome Moon. They then invent their own world using images of space and planets.
